Giving you more control over your data

From 1st January 2021, EU GDPR will no longer apply to UK businesses. GDPR will be incorporated into UK data law but may be subject to changes. For the time being, our policy remains the same. On 25th May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect in the EU.

With the passage of this legislation, new standards for how companies should manage and store customer data will be established. For these adjustments, we updated our privacy statement.

We only keep any personally identifying information you provide for the following uses.

Fulfilling our courier, air freight, and sea freight services.

Providing a record of your previous orders and transactions
Sending important updates, news, and special offers via email, or requesting and collecting customer feedback in order to improve our website and services.
We also work to ensure that our systems and your data are secure.

Do you share my personal data with other companies ?

Lanka Cargo Ltd is a freight forwarder. When you book a courier or freight service with us, we will share your full name, address, and contact details with the carriers and agents involved in fulfilling your service. We do not allow other companies to use your personal data for their own marketing purposes. For more details about the third parties, we use to fulfil our services, please see our privacy policy.

Can I delete my personal data ?

You can request to remove data in individual orders older than 6 months. This option is available via your Account
